Isa Tapia

Still a relatively young brand Isa Tapia is a name that will be reeling off your tongue in the next few years to come. Ive always loved statement heels and all of Tapias shoes do just that! This brand is one to watch, her instagram is full of fashion, styling tips for the shoes and Isa Tapias personal life, which for me always brings the brand a bit more to life - knowing the designers ticks and inspiration always make an instagram account more personable. The shoes are  stocked world wide this desinger shows no sign of stopping, head to the website as soon as to see whats coming next!

@shoesinart

Ive always been an avid art follower, so I hit a gold mine when I came across Shoes in Art, an instagram account dedicated to bringing you footwear depicted from various pieces of art. The instagram account does all the talking! so Im going to keep this post short and sweet so you can head over to Insta to check them out. As most shoe designers know, silhouettes of footwear very rarely change (its all be done and seen before) much like fashion, footwear styles are always recycled adapted to the new modern age. The footwear in most of the art works have definitely come around in fashion a number of times so footwear designers this may be something you can stick in the inspiration bank.

Safa Sahin

Every so often I come across some great conceptual ideas for footwear and wonder how they would work in real life. Safa Sahin has done just that - seamlessly, he has designed a number of conceptual/virtual shoe ranges that cross over into fully functioning shoes. His online portfolio shows just how creative you can get by designing and thinking outside of the box. I have found a whole online library of virtual footwear designers that create some mind blowing examples of conceptual shoes - these days technology and fashion seems to go hand in hand. The last few seasons have a seen a huge presence of technology either incorporated into the final piece or how the item was manufactured - 3d printing has become extremely lucrative in the footwear industry of late to. So with this in mind I will leave you with our first ever virtual/conceptual designer on High Heels High Hopes - it certainly won't be our last!
