Last week was eventful to say the least, I had castings up to my eyeballs on Monday and the rest of the week was filled with making clutch bags and a blogger event on the Thursday. The best bit of news last week was being selected to model for a fashion show that will be taking place in the Bahamas this Thursday (eeeeeeekkkkkkk!!!!) Understandably I was stoked! Since the show seems like no expenses have been spared I decided to purchase the shoes that the designers requested, since I didn't already have them. Luckily it was Black Friday and I managed to find everything I needed for a good budget. The key was finding what they requested over what I liked (naturally my eyes wondered to what I would have preferred buying) which seemed more of a challenge - I figured even though they are going to be cheap and cheerful they should at least be something that I didn't feel embarrassed wearing. Cheap doesn't necessarily mean tacky, as you know I love promoting brands that do a fantastic job of selling fashion forward shoes on a shoe string budget (ha excuse the pun). The designers had requested gold strappy sandals and plain black court shoes. I ended up purchasing three pairs of shoes (I couldn't decide which ones I preferred) and have decided to take them all with me along with an extra two pairs, brown platforms from Zara and a pair of flat espadrilles that I up cycled a couple months back from Asos.

Chiara Ferragni
I have long been a Chiara Ferragni fan girl, her style is personal and unique to her body type; tall and slim just like me, which was the first reason she caught my eye. Now that she has amassed a huge following from fashionistas, bloggers and huge fashion houses I find my self in awe of not only her style but the empire she has built from scratch. From self branding and promotion to her footwear collection everything has her personal touch, right down to design and style. I've avidly watched her footwear collection blossom into 'must have' shoes seasons over and I still don't tire from them. They add that little bit of character and pizzazz that is much needed when you look down at your feet!
Heel Protectors
With Ascot and the Wedding season well underway, these babies are just what you are looking for. I saw these heel protectors on a lady at a dear friends wedding i was at on the weekend and thought they were just genius! I hate when my heels sink into grass and its inevitable that if your at ascot of a wedding yout heels are bound to bear the brunt from being on the grass, either for photos or for placing your bets if you're at the races. The heel protectors are cheap and easy to source and the best thing is you'll never have to worry about ruining your heels ever again. They are available in clear and black, (personally the clear plastic works best as it goes with everything) and indifferent sizes to go over different sized heels. There are a number of brands that you can buy them from but eBay has a great selection. You'll either love them or hate them, but for (on average) £2 you can afford to try them and make the decision for yourself!
