Its always nice having another brand in your shoe bank to think about for options - you can never be out of options and the best part is that her shoes are available at 50 different stockists around the globe! So go on...have a scroll!

AHAAS

This new shoe label from Paris is a new favourite of mine, I came across it a couple days ago and I just love it! The styles offer comfort and coolness and have a real Parisian Chic look for a modern yet urban woman. Ive totally warmed to flats, and these comfy delights are a fantastic option for casual wear even though they are in the slightly more luxe end of fashion. Ahaas short for An hour and A shower launched in 2015 with Dorothee Loerman and Antoine Thieser as the creative directors. They're stocked in Tokyo, Paris and New York and have a bright future ahead of them especially while flats and sliders are still ruling the runway.

Snake Skin High Heel Sandals

Yesterday was my last full day at the ICMS Studio before getting prepared for Curacao. Now even though I'm totally hyped for it, I always get bogged down with things I need to get done before I leave, this time it was footwear. I wanted to make a pair of high heel sandals, along with espadrilles and complete my sisters flat shoes. I did bits and pieces on the espadrille and the shoes for my sister and managed to complete a whole pair of snake skin high heel sandals. Below are some of my process images and the final outcome. I adore them and can't wait to put them on in Curacao, they took me about 3 hours to complete, with help from my boss. High Heel sandals have an instant satisfaction just because the progress is instantly visible as its a shorter process. I'll be making more in no time! Christopher Dixon

Sneaker designer turned high heel extraordinare started his adventure into footwear from a young age using Basketball sneakers as his inspiration. Turning his hands to high heels is more of a recent venture when he was able to look into Serena Williams Shoe drobe. Dixon remembered how Williams mentioned that most of her favourite shoes gave her great pain and this triggered a partnership that explored the comfort of sports footwear within heels. In comes Christopher Coy - his debut heel collection. The designs speak for themselves, they look luxuriously comfy yet amazingly supportive through the use of organic materials. Now they don't come cheap but what great designs do? Head to his website for a more expansive look at his new range, but for now I leave you with a few of my favourites.

Wal & Pai

This new brand thats making waves in the fashion world is a force to be reckoned with. I always love hearing about different brands simply because it allows me to be more unique (and stops me from forever shopping in one place). Was Pai have a great footwear collection that are beautifully made from italian leather and made in LA. They have great price point - it doesn't break the bank and offers a great sense of individuality with each shoe within the collection. The 'Falcon' sliders are my favourite, nudes are always classic and sliders are totally on trend.

SENSO

Last year, like most people in the fashion industry, Premiere Vision was the place to be. Paris is one of those amazing places, and even though I had been several times before, this was the time where I completely fell in love with the city. At this time I had already packed in my job and completely immersed myself into footwear. I wanted to know the ins and outs of the industry and part of getting to know the industry was watching trends and styles that were becoming popular. Then came the unthinkable, (mostly I'm a shy girl - I'm loud around people I know or only with some dutch courage, would I ever think of doing the following..) my cousin encouraged me to ask people where their shoes were from if I said 'ooo her shoes are nice'. This was a completely mortifying concept especially in Paris, where it quickly became a game of charades, since my french is terrible. In came the Senso shoe brand. A  name that repeatedly cropped up when I asked where the interesting shoes were from. (Parisians are in a league of their own when it comes to effortless style and class) I have been following them on Instagram for some time now, and its safe to say they're here to stay. Their story consolidates just how much longevity the brand has. Starting from a husband and wife duo in the 1980s in Australia, to injecting some fresh and youthful designs by the input of their daughters, they had one main goal of branching out into boutiques all over the world. They have completely turned the business around but have stayed true to their roots with style thats  classic yet obscure with a subtle sense of luxury - What else could you ask for?

I leave you with some of my favourite shoes from their current season!
