Accessory Alert - Shoe Licks

In my last post I mentioned the gift shop at the Design Museum - they always have really trendy items (I wouldn't expect anything less of the Design Museum) and this time they didn't fail to impress. Shoe Licks - a brand new product on the horizon to keep your shoes bang on trend at a bargain price to.

The concept of Shoe Licks is to jazz up the ‘sole’ and ‘leaf’ part of a high heel, by using their range of stickers to apply to your heels. Their idea started from the orginal red bottoms Louboutin, which everyone is familiar with however, not so easy to attain. So with that in mind Shoe Licks Stickers are just what every woman has been crying out for, an on budget (they are only £2.99) trend that can have everyone wondering just where you have bought your shoes from. The stickers come in a variety of colours and one size fits all. It takes all of three steps to apply the stickers to your heels (there is a tutorial on their website if you prefer watching someone else do them first like I do) and for all the designers out there you can even turn your hand to designing your very own bespoke pair of stickers - of course this does come with its terms and conditions (check out the website for this if you are interested). You can buy the stickers from the Shoe Licks website or from the Design Museum and River Island.

So if you are looking for a way of revamping some of your tired looking shoes, or if you want to refrain from throwing out a much loved pair of heels, Shoe Licks stickers are just the ticket you are looking for!
